OSIR Site Designer: Describe Your Site, Get a Live URL

You can now get a real, live website by describing it in a chat. Tell an AI assistant connected to OSIR "make a website for my seafood restaurant in Vlora", answer a handful of questions, and a finished one-page site appears at a live HTTPS URL like restorant-x.osir.app. Ask for changes in plain words and the same link updates in under a minute. It works in Claude, in the OSIR dashboard's AI Interface, and in any other MCP client, and the free tier means trying it costs nothing.

The feature is called the OSIR Site Designer, and it ships as two new tools on the OSIR MCP server, which now exposes 102 tools and 11 built-in prompts.

How does it work?

The flow has four steps, and you only ever see the first and the last:

1. The interview. The assistant asks five things: your business, what it concretely does, who visits the page, the one job the page must do, and the one call to action. Extras like brand colors, a logo, real photos, and reference sites are offered in a single batch you can skip.
2. The brief. The assistant sends your answers to osirSiteDesignBrief, which validates them and returns the design instructions the assistant must follow.
3. The publish. The assistant writes the complete HTML page directly into osirSitePublish. The page never gets pasted into the chat, which keeps the conversation fast and cheap.
4. The preview is the live site. There is no staging step. Open the URL on your phone; that is the real page. Every revision republishes to the same name.

A detail worth pausing on: the OSIR server never calls an AI model itself. The assistant you are already talking to does the designing, and OSIR validates the brief, enforces the quality contract, and hosts the result. That is why the same feature works identically behind Claude, the dashboard chat, or any other MCP-capable agent.

What can you make with it?

One-page websites and landing pages: a restaurant, a portfolio, a shop front, a service business, an event signup. In your own language, too - the interview and the site come out in Albanian or German if that is how you asked.

That last row matters: osirSitePublish is a standalone publishing tool, not just the tail end of the design flow. Any complete HTML page can go live with it, including a site you or your agent built somewhere else entirely.

How do I get a good result?

Four things make the difference between a generic page and one that looks like yours:

• Give real content. Your actual tagline, prices, hours, and photo URLs beat anything invented. The assistant only fills gaps, and it marks placeholders visibly so you can spot them.
• Don't ask for a copy of a famous site. The assistant cannot see other websites and will not imitate them. What works is naming up to three sites and saying what you like about each: "the calm spacing, the large photos."
• Mood words steer better than "modern". Everything claims to be modern. "Handmade, Mediterranean, honest" gives the design an actual direction.
• One job per page. The clearer the single thing the page must achieve, the sharper the result.

What will it refuse to do?

The design flow will not invent testimonials, reviews, awards, or client logos; it will not use other companies' branding or copy a famous site's look; and it will not add tracking scripts or third-party widgets. Pages come out fast, self-contained, and accessible. Contact forms are call, email, or WhatsApp buttons for now (or your own form endpoint if you have one) - a built-in OSIR form endpoint is on the roadmap.

Your own uploaded site is exempt from all of that. Publish-as-is means as-is, CDN scripts and embeds included.

Where do I try it?

Three doors into the same feature:

• The OSIR dashboard. The AI Interface in the client portal already speaks to the same MCP server. Ask it for a website.
• Claude. Add OSIR as a custom connector (Customize, then Connectors) with the remote MCP server URL https://be.osir.com/mcp/http, then ask. The new website_designer prompt guides the whole flow.
• Any other MCP client. ChatGPT's connector mode, Cursor, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent - the AI integration docs cover setup.

Designing needs no account. Publishing does, which is also the moment your site gets its permanent name. And since the same conversation has the whole registrar in reach, "put it on my own domain" is a natural next sentence: the assistant can register the name on the spot, with the usual quote and confirmation step before anything is charged. Can I publish a website I already have?

Yes. osirSitePublish accepts any complete HTML document up to 1 MiB and puts it live as-is, and multi-file sites go up as a zip through the app hosting tools. The design flow is optional.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. Sites live at yourname.osir.app today, and custom domains for published sites are on the roadmap. You can already register the domain you want in the same conversation so it is ready.
