Auto-Renewal Settings
Auto-renewal ensures your services continue uninterrupted. Manage your renewal preferences here.
How Auto-Renewal Works
- Service approaching expiration
- We charge your default payment method
- Service renewed for another period
- Confirmation email sent
Enabling Auto-Renewal
For All Services
- Go to Billing > Auto-Renewal
- Toggle Enable Auto-Renewal
- Select default renewal period
- Save settings
For Specific Services
- Go to the service (Domain, VPS, etc.)
- Find Auto-Renewal setting
- Toggle on
- Select renewal period (if applicable)
Renewal Timeline
| Event | When |
|---|---|
| Reminder email | 30 days before expiry |
| Second reminder | 7 days before expiry |
| Auto-renewal charge | 14 days before expiry |
| Final reminder | If payment fails |
Managing Payment Methods
Ensure successful renewals:
- Go to Billing > Payment Methods
- Verify default method is valid
- Update expired cards
- Add backup payment method
Renewal Pricing
- Renewals charged at current pricing
- Lock in rates with multi-year registration
- Prices may change; we notify 30+ days ahead
Disabling Auto-Renewal
Single Service
- Go to the service
- Toggle off Auto-Renewal
- Service expires at end of current period
All Services
- Go to Billing > Auto-Renewal
- Toggle off global auto-renewal
- Confirm the change
Warning: Disabling may result in service interruption
Failed Renewals
If payment fails:
- We retry after 3 days
- You receive failure notification
- Update payment method promptly
- Service continues during grace period
Grace Periods
If renewal fails completely:
