Email client configuration

Email Client Configuration

Set up your email in popular desktop and mobile applications.

Server Settings

Use these settings for all email clients:

Incoming Mail (IMAP)

Setting Value
Server imap.osir.com
Port 993
Encryption SSL/TLS
Username Your full email address

Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

Setting Value
Server smtp.osir.com
Port 587
Encryption STARTTLS
Authentication Required
Username Your full email address

Microsoft Outlook

Desktop (Windows/Mac)

  1. Go to File > Add Account
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click Advanced options > Let me set up my account manually
  4. Select IMAP
  5. Enter the server settings above
  6. Click Connect

Outlook Mobile (iOS/Android)

  1. Open Outlook app
  2. Tap Add Account
  3. Enter your email
  4. Select IMAP when prompted
  5. Enter server settings
  6. Sign in

Apple Mail

macOS

  1. Open Mail > Add Account
  2. Select Other Mail Account
  3. Enter name, email, and password
  4. Enter IMAP and SMTP settings
  5. Click Sign In

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts
  2. Tap Add Account > Other
  3. Tap Add Mail Account
  4. Enter your details
  5. Select IMAP
  6. Enter server settings

Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Click Menu > New > Existing Mail Account
  2. Enter your name, email, and password
  3. Click Configure manually
  4. Enter IMAP and SMTP settings
  5. Click Done

Gmail App (Android)

  1. Open Gmail > Settings
  2. Tap Add account > Other
  3. Enter your email
  4. Select Personal (IMAP)
  5. Enter password and server settings

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect to server

  • Verify server addresses and ports
  • Check that encryption is enabled
  • Confirm your password is correct

Cannot send email

  • Ensure SMTP authentication is enabled
  • Check outgoing port is 587
  • Verify your ISP isn't blocking the port
